A Barn in the Snow

I find it soul soothing to stand in front of an old barn which carries time so gracefully.

There is faint but certain beauty despite the corrosion of years.

This beauty is not only in the eye of the beholder

but in the craftsmanship and the culture that is now long gone.

Nostalgia? No, rather an antidote to the world that seem to sprout semi fabricated stuff,

including buildings, in an endless succession, very little of which will stand the tests of time, or beauty.
