As a child I would spend much of my time playing and exploring in the forests.
The experience was reinforced by the many childhood books and stories
that were then re-enacted through the hours of play
and set in the natural worlds and forests of many kinds. Today, there remains in me, a well guarded permission
that allows me to revisit that faint memory of the make-believe;
to weave through the fragments of the stories and the intricate patterns of the mind,
all that is shaped by the woods that are all around me.
And there, barely visible, get a glimpse of the enchanting and the magical again.
