I lived in Malaysia between 2014-2018. These were years filled with many rich encounters to remember. But if there is the one thing from this period one must choose, it is the sky. I will be remembering the Malaysian sky. Within minutes the skies could turn from bright and sunny into a full scale darkest of storms. In between these two opposing phenomena, there was always a moment of stillness, a beautiful, eerie quietness, while the storm was silently gathering its full momentum. I took this image on 30th floor high rise balcony and had an eye level view towards the silently gathering clouds. Far underneath the traffic and busy daily life continued as normal, but there and then, the moment for me felt more like a dream.

Dark storm clouds stretch across a pale sky above a bright opening, creating a moody aerial cloudscape.
